Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to common questions about privacy, formulas, and client-side processing.

What size should podcast cover art be?▼
Use a square image with clear type and good contrast. Apple recommends 3000 × 3000 pixels for show artwork, and accepts RSS-submitted show covers from 1400 × 1400 through 3000 × 3000 pixels. Verify each platform’s current artwork rules before uploading.
Can I preview my cover art in Apple Podcasts and Spotify layouts?▼
Yes. Upload a local JPG or PNG and switch among Apple-style, Spotify-style, mobile, and small-thumbnail mockups. These are visual previews, not official app screenshots or guarantees of how every device will render your artwork.
What makes podcast cover art readable on a phone?▼
Use a short title, large lettering, strong foreground/background contrast, and one recognizable focal point. Inspect the design at a very small size. Fine details, long subtitles, and tiny social handles often disappear in directory grids.
Does the cover art previewer verify that my artwork will be accepted?▼
It helps you inspect basic dimensions and visual legibility, but it cannot certify directory approval. Other requirements may include file encoding, color profile, transparency, content restrictions, and changes to platform policy. Check the official submission guidance before publishing.
Are my uploaded podcast cover images stored online?▼
The current implementation reads the selected image using your browser’s local FileReader and displays it in the page. It does not provide an image-upload service or publish the artwork. Avoid making an absolute privacy guarantee beyond the code path and deployment you control.
